I had a lovely Mother’s Day spent at the newly re-opened Airfield Farm in Dundrum. Spending the day in the sunshine with my babies and baby animals was pretty much perfect. I was so impressed by the new buildings and layout of the farm and can’t wait for it to fully open this summer. The entrance has moved even closer to the Luas, so I think we’ll be making lots of trips out there. It’s really cool to have an urban farm to visit and it is one of the many cool family friendly activities around Dublin that we need to take advantage of! We had lunch at the cafe, which as really delicious but it was a mad house and I hear it can get really busy on Sundays. It was worth the wait though for my veggie fry-up (with avacado!) and Chris said it was one of the best meaty fried breakfasts he’s ever had.
