Remember our little trip to the Bray seaside? Well, obviously there’s only one thing to wear and that’s a little Breton Stripe. Alex joined me in the navy stripe fest, while Nate wore something from his couture collection, his own hand painted stripy shirt (and ridiculous face). My Sun Jellies were perfect for walking on the rocky beach. These are seriously the best shoes. If I’d been allowed to get close to the sea, would have been great for splashing around. Alex was a little scared of walking on the rocks and Nate was a little scared of the water, so we were kind of in beach limbo.
On a cold rainy day like today, it’s hard to believe I was in shorts not long ago (come back sun!) I’d like to think this could become a summer uniform. Chris got me this bag before Nate was born and it’s really earning it’s stripes spots now. After going back and forth on camera bags, I finally settled on getting a padded insert so I could switch out bags. It has worked out really well so far as I don’t carry that much gear with me, just my Nikon + kit lens + pancake lens. You’d never guess I have it all packed in the this bag, along with my wallet, water bottles for boys and my Ruby & Ginger changing bag.
